THE SHOWERS

The State Parks contacted the Club in regards to repairing some of the showers at the beach. Shower #1 was washed out during the January storms. That one may not get fixed until after the rainy season. Shower # 4 has rusted out at the base and is leaking water with no way to patch it. This will require some major work with lots of digging. Our resident plumber will be there at 6:30 a.m. on tuesday to review the situation, and Les Williams will be there at 8:30 to try to "dig up" some volunteers to assist. Any help would be appreciated. The club is always willing to help the Parks Dept. on these matters as we can usually do it leaving a much smaller footprint down there then the State and their tractors. (Remember the bamboo removal last spring?)
