BEACH CLOSURE

On monday the 18th of April and possibly the 19th too, San Onofre Surf Beach will be closed for road work. The heavy rains of the past year have taken their toll and the usual annual patch job will not work. The work will be done by board member Tom Bistline and his crew. They will also put clean sand in some of the areas by the logs and volleyball courts that got mudded over. Another thing they will attempt to do is figure out a way to have an adequate drainage /runoff system for the dirt hill where the pavement ends. Although the club picks up the tab for this work, Tom gives us an incredible deal and at times in the past has done it on his own dime! Thanks Tom!
